Over this past summer, you may have noticed that you didn’t receive The Good Life Newsletter in your email inbox each month. Many of you may have wondered if we had decided to discontinue our e-newsletter. Some of you even wrote to me asking, “Where is it? We have no intention of discontinuing The Good Life Newsletter. After three years of publishing our newsletter each and every month without a break, however, I felt it was time to give our writers, who have regularly contributed articles each month on a completely volunteer and up paid basis, a much needed rest. I must confess that there have been times in which I considered stopping the newsletter because I wondered if people were actually benefiting from our newsletter. But, in addition to an occasional positive email I have received many times from readers telling of how they have been blessed by a particular article, I have received much encouraging feedback from our writers, who will occasionally be confronted by a reader in person, who has enjoyed a particular article. So, we are back. And we do not plan on quitting anytime soon. I also want to mention that we are looking for more writers. Particularly, I am looking for someone with a financial background and/or someone with a sound biblical knowledge of finances management to contribute to our monthly column Money Matters. Ron Blue has left his company and we no longer have access to his articles on money, so we welcome someone with fresh insights in how to manage our money from a biblical perspective. Furthermore, Gwen Phillips has moved to Colorado to start working for a Christian company. We wish her the best of luck and want to state how much we appreciate her contributions of so many insightful and inspiring articles over the past the years. She will be missed. Her absence will leave a vacancy for the Our Daily Walk monthly columnn. So, here is an excellent opportunity for a someone who God has blessed with good writing skills to share their more personal experiences in their walk with God - what they have learned from their relationship with God and how He has impacted their lives - to inspire our readers on a more personal level to grow in their personal relationship with Jesus. Finally, please feel free to send us your suggestions on how we can improve The Good Life Newsletter and any concerns you might have. Also, we always welcome your letters of encouragement. With that, we are back with our October edition. I hope you enjoy it. Sincerely,
